Hi! My name is Riana and I’m a current graduate student with Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio. I’m working towards my master's in clinical mental health (LPC). My goal from a very young age has been to become a counselor. From my very first introduction to a psychology class, I knew this was exactly where I needed to be. With all the stigma around mental health and seeking therapy, I’m hoping we can start to normalize going to therapy to give our mental health a check-up and work through bigger struggles as needed. In all that is happening in the world, you certainly deserve a safe space.
My priority while working with clients is to create a space that is inviting, safe, and free of judgment. I treat therapy as a personal journey where my client is the steward of their own ship, and I seek to see the journey through their eyes, while coming alongside them as a support when the waters get rough. I would be honored to help you navigate mood and anxiety struggles, life transitions, grief, trauma and/or disordered eating. Currently, I see clients ages 13+.
If you feel I may be a good fit for you, or your teen please feel free to reach out at 512-364-0202 so that we can set up a free 15-minute consultation call. I provide reduced-cost counseling for clients in the Austin Area!
