I provide therapy to individuals ages 15+,
couples/relationships, and families.
Hi and welcome. My name is Hannah, and I’m a clinical social worker (LCSW-S, supervisor status), ACN’s Clinical and Operations Director, and a senior therapist here at Austin Counseling and Nutrition. I’m glad you’re here, and I invite you to explore my page to see if we might be a good fit.

I work from a hopeful, strengths-based perspective, grounded in the belief that growth and healing are always possible. I recognize the courage and vulnerability it takes to step into therapy, and I’m intentional about creating a space that feels safe, steady, and supportive—where you can show up fully as yourself on both the easier days and the hard ones. Therapy, like life, can hold depth and seriousness, but it can also include moments of warmth, humor, and genuine connection as we work toward your goals together.

At the core of my work is a belief that we all long to feel known, seen, and valued for who we are. I’m deeply devoted to helping my clients experience that sense of being met and understood in our work. Many clients come to me feeling lost in the woods, longing for clarity, grounding, or direction. It is truly an honor to walk alongside you and help find that clearing together.

I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities, with a primary focus on an attachment-based framework to cultivate safety and secure connection. I integrate EMDR therapy and parts work/IFS to process trauma, embodiment practices to support a safer and more compassionate relationship with your body, and DBT skills to help manage emotional overwhelm. I also incorporate psychoeducation to expand insight and offer new ways of understanding your experiences. My therapeutic lens is relational, holistic, culturally humble, and attentive to the ways larger systems impact individual lives. When helpful, I also weave in modern neuroscience to support understanding and integration.

My background as an inpatient psychiatric social worker and as the leader of a DBT IOP for teens has shaped me into a steady, deeply committed therapist. I strive to offer a grounded, hopeful space as you explore new ways of relating to yourself, your relationships, and your life. I specialize in eating disorder treatment and also provide trauma therapy, as well as support for depression and anxiety. Across all of my work, I am trauma-aware, socially just, and passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families build more secure, connected relationships.

Outside of therapy, I have a spunky goldendoodle named Marley; she may pop up during virtual sessions sometimes to say hello! I am forever a hobby collector, but recently have been reading, movie-watching, pickleball-learning, and connecting with my community. I'm a lover of cold sunny days, a warm cup of coffee, the color Maroon, and a great slice of pizza.
If you feel that I may be a good fit to support you, your teenager, or your family, please reach out to me at 512-777-0625 and I would be happy to set up a free 15-minute consultation call to see if we would be a good fit. I provide in-person therapy for clients living around the Austin, Texas area, and online therapy for clients across the state of Texas.

Trauma can make us feel so alone, but you don't have to walk this path by yourself. I'm trained in EMDR therapy, a well-researched trauma therapy that helps individuals process trauma through the body. EMDR can be a very beneficial tool to use in the healing process from trauma or any difficult life experience. I also utilize parts work, through the method of Internal Family Systems (IFS), to help individuals resolve trauma and painful current and past experiences. IFS is a compassion-focused therapy model that helps increase calmness, confidence, and self-love, leading to amazing healing for clients.
We all have relationships, but they aren't always easy. You may have different kinds of relationships in your life: friends, parents, partner(s), children, siblings. Relationships help make life meaningful. Sometimes, we need support to work on how we show up in our relationships. I am passionate about clients learn how to improve and sustain relationships in their life. I have training to provide couples therapy, marital therapy, as well as relationship therapy of other kinds. Go here to learn more about our approaches to marriage and couples therapy.
