Hello! My name is Aliyah White, and I am a graduate student at Houston Christian University. I am part of their Online master's program for clinical mental health counseling. I am expected to graduate in the Fall of 2023. Before joining my current program, I graduated from Texas Southern University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in sociology. My love for supporting others' mental health began in high school when I helped a loved one get through a dark time. From then to now, the love has grown. I strongly advocate for mental health; every person deserves proper mental health care. It brings me joy to help people who struggle with anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My ultimate goal is to help clients navigate their therapeutic journey in a way that makes them feel optimistic about the future.
As a counseling intern, I aim to provide clients with safety, security, and empathy as we work together toward their goals. I am currently seeking clients from adolescents to adults; you can reach out to me via phone or text at 512-844-2514. From there, we can schedule a free consultation call. In addition, I am a student intern; and I provide reduced-cost therapeutic services.
Aliyah currently has availability to offer counseling services at $55/session with some lower sliding scale options available.
